Lindi Liao

Lindi Liao has over 20 years of R&D experience across academia, industry, and government. She has an extensive record of research and development, including numerous projects, peer-reviewed publications, and several books on 3D graphics, GPUs, and Big Data computing. Her work has also fostered strong collaborations across government, industry, and academia to shape emerging technology directions. Before joining Mason, she served as CTO and Head of Research in multiple industries—including a Fortune Global 30 company—where she led R&D initiatives in emerging AI technologies. Earlier in her career, she contributed to research at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s FAA/FHWA center and at national laboratories.
