You can earn a bachelor of science, a master of science, or a PhD in Information Technology at Mason. You also have options for accelerated master’s degrees in our program. 

As an undergraduate, you will learn the foundations of IT, which will help you understand and successfully address real-world problems and find technical solutions. You’ll get hands-on experience throughout the curriculum taught by engineers and industry experts, and you'll have many research opportunities culminating in your capstone experience. 

For our graduate students, IST offers world-class research opportunities in our concentration areas of cybersecurity, cyber-human systems, data analytics, and intelligence methods, and IT management. Students work side-by-side with some of the best researchers and entrepreneurs in the world.
