Biography

Humaira Akhtari is a term instructor in the Department of Information Science and Technology at George Mason University, with over eight years of teaching experience. She specializes in Problem Solving, Algorithms, Programming, and Discrete Structures. Passionate about teaching, and helping students succeed. She coordinates IT 102 and IT 106 courses and serves as the Assistant Chair for Undergraduate and Graduate Studies. Humaira holds a Master’s in Computer Science from Technical University of Berlin and is pursuing a PhD at George Mason University. She is AWS certified and holds the AWS Educators Badge.
