Biography
Kazi Lutful Kabir is an assistant professor in the Department of Information Sciences and Technology at George Mason University. His major teaching interest includes problem-solving and data science. His research is directed toward applying data mining and machine learning techniques to answer interesting biological questions. Kabir earned his MS and PhD in Computer Science from George Mason University and his BS in Computer Science and Engineering from the Military Institute of Science and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Before joining Mason, he was an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at Stevens Institute of Technology. He was also a research fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).
