Undergraduate Orientation
New student orientation is the first step for all incoming undergraduate students.
Mason’s campus-wide orientation will connect you to your George Mason University family and provide you with important information about all the exciting opportunities. All students new to Mason—whether freshman, international, or transfer—are required to attend orientation. After you’re accepted, make sure to register for orientation here.
During undergraduate orientation, you will be advised by academic advisors from the Information Sciences and Technology department regarding various policies, procedures, resources for academic success, degree requirements, and more.
Students who have registered for orientation will be contacted with pre-orientation advising via email, which will include an advising sheet, registration instructions, course eligibility, course recommendations, policy and procedural information, and more!
